CCTV Installation Project at Fonterra
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Assesing the security layout and the infrastructure to secure the premises with a new CCTV installation system.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
Cover the full area of working environment and the outside of the premises with high definition CCTV cameras. develop a remote monitoring access and other specific requirements requested in the proposal.
PROJECT EXECUTION
- Initial Meeting: A meeting was held with the Fonterra team to discuss the project requirements, including the number and location of cameras, as well as any specific security concerns or requirements. - Site Survey: The site survey was conducted to determine the best locations for the cameras and to ensure that they will have adequate coverage of the area. - Design: A camera layout and design will be created based on the information gathered during the site survey. This design will be reviewed and approved by the Fonterra team. - Equipment Procurement: The necessary equipment, including 48 Hikvision 6MP IP cameras, procured and delivered to the site. - Installation: The cameras were installed in the locations specified in the design. Care taken to ensure that the cameras are properly secured and that they have the optimal field of view. - Configuration: The cameras were configured to connect to the network and to transmit video to the specified recording and monitoring equipment. - Testing: The cameras tested to ensure that they were properly functioning and that they are providing the desired coverage and resolution. - Training: The Fonterra team have been trained on how to operate and maintain the cameras, as well as how to access and view the video footage. - Commissioning: Once the installation, configuration, and testing are complete, the system has commissioned and handed over to the Fonterra team for use. - Maintenance: Regular maintenance will be scheduled to ensure that the cameras are functioning properly and to address any issues that may arise.
The Outcome
The outcome of this project was the successful implementation of a surveillance system at the Fonterra Bayswater location, utilizing 48 Hikvision 6MP IP cameras. This system should provide high-resolution video coverage of the area, allowing for improved security and monitoring. The Fonterra team should be trained on how to operate and maintain the cameras, as well as how to access and view the video footage. Regular maintenance has scheduled to ensure that the cameras are functioning properly and to address any issues that may arise.
