1. Spy Vision warrants the installation to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when operated in accordance with all applicable operating conditions for a minimum period of 3 months or other specified duration.
2. This warranty shall not apply to any failure, defect, or damage caused by improper use, improper or inadequate maintenance and care.
3. This warranty shall not apply to any equipment, whose structural integrity or functionality has been altered or repaired by other than the company’s personnel or by personnel expressly approved by Spy Vision.
4. Spy Vision’s determination of installation defects is final.
5. In cases where goods or parts must be returned to Spy Vision for assessment the client is to arrange return of goods using Spy Vision’s approved freight delivery method at the client’s expense. Return of the repaired item or replacement parts will be at the cost of Spy Vision where the warranty claim is found to be a legitimate claim under the terms of this warranty.
6. All labour and travel to the client’s installation site outside the warranty coverage period is billed to the client.
7. All warranties only apply to the original client and are not transferable.
8. Warranty repairs and/or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
9. All equipment is covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty provided that it is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions as set out in the manuals supplied.
10. Spy Vision acknowledges and upholds the rights granted to the client by relevant State and Federal laws and in particular the Trades Practices Act 1974 and corresponding State Fair Trading legislation.
